Xinhai and his companions once again set out on their journey, continuing deeper toward the Small Evolution Stone Mining Area marked on the map.

As they advanced, the surrounding passages became increasingly rugged and complex. There were fewer forks in the road, but every tunnel seemed darker and deeper.

The Type energy permeating the air also seemed more active, which meant both the frequency and strength of the wild Pokémon they encountered were increasing.

As the main attacker, Blaziken displayed overwhelming strength and efficiency. Kirlia's Psychic type battlefield control and support were everywhere. Eevee used its diverse moves to fill every gap, while Mightyena, Sandile, and Zigzagoon received ample real-combat training and handled battles with increasing ease.
