Pokémon: A Wondrous Journey

A Pokémon story with no system, no overpowered protagonist, and a grounded, realistic approach.

Main content: travel, battles, and exploration.

Follow Xinhai Bai Mu and his Pokémon as they forge deep bonds, challenge powerful trainers across every region, and strive to become the strongest Pokémon Trainer.

The protagonist's Pokémon will all learn certain forms of Chinese martial arts, gradually combining those techniques with their moves until they become unbeatable across the world.

This story is somewhat slow to warm up, but the plot will strive to remain rigorous and logical.

In addition, the later stages of the story will feature a special plot development that I believe will give every reader a refreshing surprise. There will also be hints of this development early on, so feel free to speculate.

Aside from a few homages and comedic moments, the plot is entirely original. Pokémon appearing in the story are limited to those through Generation VII. Generation VIII will be mentioned near the end, but only briefly.
