"Yes, Uncle. I'll keep that in mind," Xinhai replied respectfully.
"Xinhai, don't forget our agreement! When you come back, we'll have a proper battle!" Brawly said with a grin, giving Xinhai's shoulder a firm pat.
"Definitely!" Xinhai replied with a smile.
That afternoon, Xinhai did not continue with high-intensity training. Instead, he brought his partners to Dewford Town's shore once more to enjoy their final leisurely moments before leaving.
The sea breeze brushed against his face as the waves rolled gently ashore. The Pokémon played on the beach while Xinhai gazed out at the boundless ocean, his heart full of anticipation for the journey ahead.
At dawn on the third day, while the sky was still dim, Xinhai and his Pokémon were already packed and ready to depart.
