The sudden appearance of several new faces made Axew instinctively shrink its neck, but when it saw Eevee's encouraging gaze and Xinhai's gentle smile, it gathered its courage and straightened up again.
Xinhai smiled and walked over to Axew, gently guiding the nervous little one half a step forward. His voice was clear and warm:
"Let me formally introduce everyone. This is the newest member of our team—Axew! It just joined us and may still be a little shy, so please take good care of it!"
Then he turned to Axew and patiently introduced each companion in turn.
"Axew, this is Golem. It likes quietly basking in the sun and eating ore. It may look a little stern, but it's actually very dependable."

"This is Charmander, the little brother of the team. He's about the same age as you, so you can play and train together from now on."

"This is Feebas. It spends most of its time in the water, but it's very gentle."
Feebas blew a string of sparkling bubbles toward Axew from the water basin, its tiny eyes filled with friendliness.
"This is Weedle, the youngest little brother on our team. He was only born recently."
Weedle poked his head out of Xinhai's chest pocket, his black bean-like eyes curiously watching Axew as he made a faint "Wumi" sound.
