A Date for Two

Yake decisively pressed the red button and hung up.

Not long after Yake hung up, the phone rang again. Feeling helpless, he had no choice but to answer it once more.

"Get to the point, or I'll kill you!"

There was silence on the other end for a long while before the caller said, "Mr. Yake, please don't get worked up. I only want to tell you that S.H.I.E.L.D. is not a very good choice. Hydra is humanity's future!"

"S.H.I.E.L.D.? Looks like Fury's actions gave you the wrong idea. I haven't joined any organization. I'm just an alien, and I don't want to interfere too much in matters between you humans. Do whatever you want. I don't want to deal with it, and I can't be bothered to."

Yake was speaking from the heart. His current goal was merely to gather the Infinity Stones. The tangled history between S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra was a problem left over from the past, and Yake had the strength but not the inclination to deal with it.

"How about this, Mr. Yake? Don't refuse just yet. One day, you'll know who truly represents the future. When that time comes, we will await your esteemed arrival..."

The call ended immediately after that. Yake shook his head and lay on the bed, lost in thought. After a while, someone knocked on the door.

"Hi, May. You look beautiful today. This is..."

Yake opened the door and found May wearing a sexy purple bodycon dress. Looking down, he saw her smooth, long black legs, which were especially enticing. She was also holding two movie tickets.

"Thank you. Here's the thing, Yake. Our company gave us some movie tickets. It's for the newly released Avatar, and I heard it's pretty good. I wanted to invite you to see it
