The group drove to the rural hospital where Thor was being held.
Thor was tightly strapped to a hospital bed. Even with the strength of a god's body, now merely comparable to that of a mortal, he could not break free by force. His divine power had been stripped away; at most, he was now a burly man with extensive combat experience.
But Thor was not stupid. Since he could not force his way out of the restraints, he could twist around and slowly slip his limbs free.
By the time Yake and the others arrived, only a few black restraint straps remained in the ward.
"I lost the most important living evidence! The most typical example!"
"What do we do now?"
"Of course we go find him!" Miao Miao'er said.
Erik glanced at Yake, then looked at Jane. "You saw what happened when he tore up the hospital. Maybe that isn't a good idea."
"The data can't show what's inside, but he knows. So we have to find him!"
Erik asked tentatively, "Even if we have to search all of New Mexico?"
"That's right."
Jane started the car, preparing to back out of the parking space.
Yake smiled. He sensed someone approaching, and sure enough—
Bang!
"What the—"
Daisy had been about to say something to Yake, but Jane's maneuver interrupted her. "Oh my God, Jane, amazing. You hit another innocent passerby."
Jane hurried out of the car. When she saw Thor's familiar face, she took a deep breath. At least he should be fine.
Yake got out of the car and laughed when he saw Thor. So it really was you, Xu Jinjiang!
With one hand, Yake grabbed Thor by the neck and tossed him into Jane's car, then they returned to Jane's workshop.
Thor's constitution was fairly
