The rebounded blow sent the Destroyer flying, and the fire glowing from its seams gradually faded.
"Loki, wait for me in Asgard. I'll be there soon..."
Yake teleported onto the Destroyer as he spoke. Loki cursed furiously in the great hall and drove the Destroyer with all his strength, trying to make it stand again, but Yake had already vanished without a trace.
"Thor, I'll leave the rest to you. This is a grudge between brothers. As an outsider, I'd better not interfere."
Yake patted Thor on the shoulder in encouragement.
Thor nodded silently. Some matters had to be settled by him personally, but the four Warriors Three could no longer hold back and immediately launched a combined attack against the approaching Destroyer.
"For Asgard!"
Bang!
Volstagg shouted, then was sent flying by a slap from the Destroyer. The scene became rather awkward for a moment. Daisy looked at Yake with admiration. It had been fine before the comparison, but once compared, the gap was obvious.
That strange thing had seemed like a toy in Yake's hands, yet the Asgardian warriors could do nothing against it.
Thor watched from the sidelines. He desperately wanted to help his friends, but having lost his divine power, there was no way his mortal body could defeat the Destroyer armor.
But as his friends fell one after another, Thor took a deep breath. He had to stand up. He knew Loki had come for him. If he sacrificed himself, the others might still have a chance to live.
Yake could see it now. The Destroyer armor's power was definitely far greater than this. It had merely been weakened because a different person was controlling it. Otherwise, it would not have failed to kill even a single Asgardian warrior. This was all just Odin's trial.
