The finals officially began, and Goku and Jackie Chun faced each other.

Jackie Chun was blasted backward by the impact, lost his balance, and fell onto the ring. Goku only took a few steps back before abruptly steadying himself.

Jackie Chun climbed to his feet, deeply shaken.

Jackie Chun and Goku shouted the name of the technique almost simultaneously, thrusting out two dazzling Ki Waves. The two powerful energies collided violently at the center of the ring. The shockwave instantly tore through the air, and deafening thunderous roars echoed throughout the arena as the ring floor began to crack and fragments scattered in every direction.

A few seconds later, the light gradually faded and the dust slowly settled.

Goku was still standing at the edge of the ring, while Jackie Chun had been blasted out of it and lay on the ground, a gratified smile on his face.

The referee raised Goku's arm and announced, "The match is over. Son Goku is the champion!"

The audience erupted in thunderous applause and cheers. Bulma, Krillin, and Yamcha also happily cheered for Goku.

Smiling, the announcer handed Goku a bulging bag filled with five hundred thousand in cash.

Goku took the bag. It was not light, and the thickness of the bills inside surprised him somewhat.

After the Martial Arts Tournament ended, Goku, Krillin, Bulma, and Yamcha waited for Master Roshi outside the venue.

At that moment, Master Roshi was hurriedly changing back into his usual outfit in the bushes nearby.

The thought that Goku had actually defeated him had shattered his dream of using the prize money to enjoy himself.

A moment later, Master Roshi walked up to them as if nothing had happened and chuckled. "Hehe, sorry to keep you waiting! I was watching the match inside, but there were too many people and we got separated."

Bulma glared at Master Roshi. "Where exactly did you run off to? We couldn't find you anywhere."

Master Roshi hurriedly brushed it aside. "Ah, I was just wandering around!"

At that moment, Bulma smiled and suggested, "Anyway, Goku won the championship today, so let's all go celebrate! My treat!"

Goku's eyes lit up at once. "Really? Then I'm ordering lots of delicious food!"

Krillin and Yamcha eagerly agreed. Though Master Roshi was still thinking about the prize money, he readily agreed as well.
