Goku sat on the Somersault Cloud, holding two Dragon Balls in his hands as Bulma's image involuntarily surfaced in his mind.
If Bulma really makes the Gravity Bracelets, I'll be able to keep improving myself while training!
Without further hesitation, he rode the Somersault Cloud toward West City.
Before long, Goku jumped down from the Somersault Cloud and stared at the grand building before him—Bulma's home. He could not help clicking his tongue in amazement. "Bulma's house is really special. It's completely different from all the other houses!"
Just then, a small flying car suddenly stopped at the entrance.
The door opened, and Bulma poked her head out. When she saw Goku, she cried out in delight, "Goku! What are you doing here?"
Goku waved and said with a grin, "Bulma, I missed you, so I came to see you."
Bulma rolled her eyes, but she still smiled as she walked over and warmly took Goku's hand. "You came at just the right time. Come inside and sit down!"
Bulma led Goku into the house. The moment they entered, several robotic servants lined up and said in unison, "Welcome home, Miss!"
Goku's eyes widened as he stared at the robots in astonishment. He could not help moving closer to one of them, circling around it once, and asking curiously, "These machines are so advanced!"
Bulma smiled. "Of course! They're my dad's creations. Most of the robots in our house were invented by him!"
They continued deeper inside. After passing through a wide door, the view suddenly opened up before them, revealing an enormous garden filled with all kinds of strange plants.
Dr. Briefs was watering flowers beside a flowerbed with his head lowered, while a lazy little cat perched on his shoulder.
Dr. Briefs looked up and saw Goku beside Bulma. With a cheerful smile, he said, "So you're Goku? Bulma talks about you all the time."
Goku scratched his head shyly. "Yes, Dr. Briefs. Hello!"
He secretly glanced at the kitten on Dr. Briefs's shoulder and could not help smiling.
Bulma lightly nudged Goku with her elbow and said proudly, "Dad, didn't I tell you Goku was amazing? He's the champion of the World Martial Arts Tournament!"
Dr. Briefs nodded, his gaze full of admiration. "As expected, you're an extraordinary child at such a young age. Since you're here, have a look around. Bulma, show Goku around."
Bulma brought Goku to the hall upstairs, a mysterious smile appearing on her face. "Goku, I've recently made a super cool new invention. Let me show you."
Goku blinked curiously. "What is it?"
Bulma raised her hand and pointed at the bracelet around her wrist, saying proudly, "This bracelet can make me shrink instantly!"
With that, she pressed a button on the bracelet.
In an instant, her body began shrinking rapidly. Within moments, she had become as small as a chick, so tiny that Goku practically had to lower his head and look carefully to see her.
Goku's eyes widened. He crouched down in shock, his gaze fixed on Bulma on the floor. "Wow! Bulma, you're a genius! You can really make yourself smaller? That's incredible!"
Bulma stood with her hands on her hips, her voice now tiny but still full of confidence. "Well? Isn't it amazing?"
Goku's face was full of admiration as he nodded repeatedly. "Bulma, you're really amazing! With this invention, it'll be convenient no matter where you go."
Bulma smiled, pressed the button again, and returned to her original size. She lightly patted Goku on the shoulder. "I'll make even more amazing things in the future. Goku, with me around, you won't have to worry about lacking tools!"
Bulma pulled another bracelet from her pocket and held it out before Goku. She said proudly, "Goku, this is the Gravity Bracelet I made for you! It can now be freely adjusted from one to a hundred times gravity. As long as you wear it, you can increase your training intensity anytime, anywhere."
Goku's eyes lit up. He eagerly took the bracelet and said excitedly, "Bulma, you really made it! Now I can train even better!"
He put the bracelet on his wrist and lightly adjusted it to twice gravity. At once, it felt as though every cell in his body was enveloped by immense pressure, and his movements instantly became somewhat heavier.
"Bulma, this bracelet is amazing! You're a total genius!" he exclaimed as he excitedly hugged Bulma, burying his head in her soft chest and spinning around happily.
Bulma laughed as well and patted his back. "I knew you'd like it! But be careful when using it. Especially when trying high gravity for the first time, you have to adapt slowly. Don't push yourself too hard."
Goku nodded firmly. "Don't worry, I'll be careful!"
As Goku and Bulma chatted, Bulma's mother walked in carrying a tray with several delicate wine glasses and a bottle of champagne on it. She approached Goku with a sweet smile, bent down to look him over, and asked warmly, "You're Bulma's friend Goku, right? You're so adorable!"
Goku smiled and said, "Hello, big sister! I'm Goku. Nice to meet you!"
Bulma's mother smiled even more gently. "What a polite child! Would you like to try my fine wine?"
Bulma's eyes immediately widened, and she said to her mother in dissatisfaction, "Mom! Goku's just a kid! How can you give him alcohol?"
Bulma's mother waved her hand and said to Goku with a smile, "Don't listen to Bulma. She's in her rebellious phase lately, and she's got quite a temper."
Bulma's face reddened slightly at once. Somewhat embarrassed, she muttered, "Mom! Don't tell Goku things like that!"
Her voice was a little rushed. She was clearly doing her best to hide her embarrassment, while her hand unconsciously tugged at the corner of her clothes.
Hearing their conversation, Goku tilted his head in apparent confusion. "Bulma, why are you still rebellious when you're so grown up?"
Bulma's face turned even redder. She froze for a moment before reluctantly speaking. "It's because being home alone is so boring!"
"Oh..." Goku nodded thoughtfully.
"Then you can come find me. Hehe."
Bulma snorted and said to Goku, "Hmph. Goku, come with me!"
"Sure, I'll go with you! Where are we going?"
Bulma took a few steps forward, then turned back and shot Goku an annoyed look.
"Stop asking so many questions. Just follow me first."
Goku was still as clueless as ever, happily following her. "Sure, let's go! Anyway, you know I can go anywhere!"
Bulma's mother remained where she was, watching Bulma and Goku's retreating figures gradually disappear. Her gaze softened.
She furrowed her brow slightly, as if pondering something, or perhaps recalling her own youth.
After a moment, she softly sighed, and a meaningful smile appeared at the corners of her lips.
"So that's how it is..."
She suddenly realized that Bulma was not rebelling simply because she was bored. Rather, she had developed some special feelings for Goku.
Those feelings were perhaps something she herself had once experienced when she was young—liking someone but not knowing how to express it, and instead using rebellion to conceal her fluttering heart and unease.
