World's Greatest Assassin

Goku, Bulma, and Krillin piloted the submarine back to Kame House. The moment they disembarked, Bulma excitedly opened a capsule and poured out all the treasure. Gold, silver, jewels, and precious ornaments instantly covered the entire island. Master Roshi's eyes lit up as he stroked his beard and sighed. "So much treasure! We couldn't spend it all even if we lived several lifetimes!"

At that moment, Launch sneezed and instantly changed from the gentle Blue-haired Launch into the fiery Blonde Launch. When Blonde Launch saw the treasure scattered everywhere, her eyes immediately filled with greed. Her hands itched as she began stuffing jewels into her pockets. "Haha! It's all mine!"

Seeing Launch about to make a move, Goku had no choice but to act quickly, knocking her unconscious with a single palm strike. Master Roshi looked at Launch lying on the ground, shook his head, and reproached him. "Goku, how can you be so rough with a pretty girl?"

Looking at the mountain-still pile of treasure, Bulma smiled and said to everyone, "You can all split this treasure! I don't need any of it. After all, I'm the daughter of the richest family in the world. Money is useless to me!"

Goku nodded and began distributing the treasure. Everyone received a generous share. Krillin was so happy he could not close his mouth, while Master Roshi wiped away tears beside him, sighing that he finally had money to live it up.

After dividing the treasure, Goku turned to Bulma. "Bulma, I'm going to look for the next Dragon Ball. It might get a little dangerous from here on out, so stay at Kame House."

Bulma was a little reluctant, but she understood Goku's concern and nodded in agreement. "All right. Be careful, and come back to me anytime you need help."

Goku smiled and nodded, then turned and leaped onto the Somersault Cloud, flying toward Karin Tower.

When Goku arrived at the foot of Karin Tower, he happened to see several Red Ribbon Army soldiers armed with guns surrounding Bora and his son, Upa.

Without a word, Goku jumped down from the Somersault Cloud and landed heavily on the ground. The soldiers instantly turned around, surprised to discover that the newcomer was the child who had defeated their forces time and again!

Goku gave them a cold glance. Before they could react, he accelerated in an instant and charged into their ranks. His figure flashed like lightning, and within moments he had kicked the weapons from their hands. The Red Ribbon Army soldiers had no time to resist and were swiftly and precisely knocked to the ground by Goku.

Bora looked at Goku, surprise mixed with confusion in his eyes. "Thank you for saving us, young warrior. May I ask who you are?"

Goku scratched his head and smiled innocently. "My name is Goku. I'm a martial artist! I'm looking for Dragon Balls, and when I saw you were in danger, I hurried over to help!"

Upa looked at Goku with a face full of admiration. Excitedly grabbing his hand, he said, "Brother Goku, you're amazing! You beat all these bad guys by yourself!"

After hearing this, Bora showed his gratitude and bowed deeply to Goku. "Goku, thank you for saving my son and me. If it weren't for you, we might have been in real danger today."

Goku caught sight of the gleaming Dragon Ball in Bora's hand. "Ah! That's the Dragon Ball I'm looking for!"

Upon hearing that, Bora instinctively tightened his grip on the Dragon Ball and took a slight step back. He asked cautiously, "Everything in the Sacred Land of Karin belongs to Karin. What do you want this ball for?"

Goku quickly explained, "Don't misunderstand! I only need the Dragon Balls to make a wish. I won't hurt you. Besides, only when all seven Dragon Balls are gathered can Shenron be summoned. After the wish is made, they'll scatter on their own."

Upa asked doubtfully, "Shenron? Does something that magical really exist?"

Goku nodded and said seriously, "It does! I've already found several Dragon Balls. I only need a few more to summon Shenron."

Seeing Goku's expression, Bora gradually lowered his guard. With a faint smile, he handed the Dragon Ball to Goku. "If that's what you say, then I'll give you the Dragon Ball."

At Red Ribbon Army headquarters, Commander Red slammed his hand on the table in fury and shouted, "We've already lost too many elite men! That brat is completely out of control! It's time to use our trump card."

He then picked up the phone and ordered, "Bring Mercenary Tao here. I want him to handle this personally and get rid of that brat once and for all!"

The World's Greatest Assassin, Tao, immediately answered the summons. After coldly listening to Commander Red's request, he said casually, "My fee is one hundred million per kill. But to celebrate my twenty years as an assassin, I'll give you half off. Fifty million will do."

Mercenary Tao pulled out a long pillar from Red Ribbon Army headquarters and threw it toward a point two thousand kilometers north. After a running start, he sprang into the air, landed atop the pillar, and rode it through the sky straight toward Karin Tower. Mercenary Tao thought confidently that a mere "snot-nosed brat" like Goku was not worth mentioning.

Little did he know that Goku was already waiting for him beneath Karin Tower.

Goku stood below Karin Tower as Bora stepped forward. Looking up at the towering structure that disappeared into the clouds, Bora spoke to Goku with a hint of emotion. "Do you know? Karin Tower has an ancient legend."

Goku turned his head and looked at Bora as if he knew nothing. "A legend? What legend?"

Bora spoke slowly. "It is said that this tower leads to a mysterious place where a sage of extraordinary wisdom known as Master Korin lives. They say that anyone who successfully climbs to the top can receive Master Korin's guidance and obtain a magical water called Super Holy Water. Drinking it can greatly increase one's strength."

Goku's eyes widened. "A place like that really exists? That's incredible!"

Bora nodded and continued, "I heard my father speak of the legend of Karin Tower. Many powerful warriors have tried to climb to the top, but most failed. It has been a long time since anyone reached the summit."

Just as Bora and Goku were talking, the sound of something tearing through the air came from the horizon. A massive pillar came whistling down from the sky and plunged directly into the ground beneath Karin Tower, making the earth tremble slightly. Goku was drawn to the sudden commotion as well. Looking closely, he saw a man standing steadily atop the pillar. It was none other than the World's Greatest Assassin—Mercenary Tao.

The moment Bora saw this, his expression darkened. Clenching his fists, he glared at Mercenary Tao and shouted, "This is sacred Karin Tower! No one is allowed to cause trouble here!"

Standing atop the pillar, Mercenary Tao gave a cold smile and looked down at Bora with utter disdain in his eyes. Just as Bora, consumed by rage, prepared to charge forward, Goku swiftly stretched out a hand to stop him.

"Uncle Bora, this guy is dangerous. Let me handle him!" Goku said.

Bora froze slightly and looked at Goku. After a moment of silence, he finally nodded. "All right, Goku. Be careful."

Mercenary Tao sneered as he leaped down from the pillar and landed lightly on the ground. His gaze locked onto Goku, and his tone was filled with contempt. "Brat, are you the troublemaker they've been talking about? Do you know who you're facing?"
