Goku leaped down from the Somersault Cloud and landed steadily on the balcony of the Red Ribbon Army's castle.
The surrounding soldiers raised their guns the moment they saw him appear, and a storm of bullets instantly poured down on him. Machine guns roared one after another, while rocket launchers and sniper rifles joined the assault in turn. In an instant, the entire castle was shrouded in fire and smoke.
Yet Goku merely walked forward slowly, unmoved by the attacks. Bullets struck his body without leaving so much as a mark, and the fiery blasts of rockets flashed across him, but he remained standing without budging.
The soldiers stared wide-eyed as the demon-like little brat walked out of the hail of gunfire completely unharmed. Cold sweat ran down their foreheads. This inhuman child filled them with profound terror, and the weapons in their hands suddenly felt heavy and scorching.
"This guy isn't human! Run!" one soldier shouted, immediately triggering even greater panic. In an instant, the soldiers scattered like startled birds, throwing away their weapons and armor as they fled, no longer daring to fight Goku.
Goku advanced like a hot knife through butter, quickly closing in on the main control room where the commander was located. Commander Red's palms sweated, and his face had gone deathly pale. He clutched the two Dragon Balls in his hands as if they were his last lifeline.
"Blanc! Protect me!" Commander Red roared at his personal guard beside him.
Blanc frowned slightly as he looked at the terrified commander. "Commander, why did you spend so much manpower and resources collecting the Dragon Balls? What great goal was it all for?"
Commander Red's expression darkened. After a moment of panic, he finally answered in a low voice, "I want to become taller."
Blanc's eyes widened, his tone filled with anger and disbelief. "So many people died, and the Army's resources are nearly exhausted, and you... you did all this just to become taller?"
Commander Red glanced at Blanc, a trace of humiliation appearing on his face. "You don't understand, Blanc... You don't understand the pain of being short. When I was young, people always mocked me, bullied me, ignored me... I swore I would change all that!"
A flicker of sorrow and resentment passed through Commander Red's eyes as he recalled the days when his peers had bullied him. But at that moment, Blanc's expression gradually changed from shock to indifference.
"How pathetic, Red," Blanc said coldly. Then he slowly raised the gun in his hand and aimed it at Commander Red's head.
"You!" Commander Red cried out, his voice full of terror.
"The Red Ribbon Army doesn't need a commander like you." Before the words had even faded, Blanc pulled the trigger. The gunshot echoed through the main control room. Commander Red, a commander of his generation, fell, and the two Dragon Balls in his hand rolled away, glimmering faintly.
Blanc picked up the Dragon Balls expressionlessly and prepared to leave. But when he turned around, Goku was already standing in the doorway, watching everything before him.
Goku looked around. The soldiers in the main control room had already fled in all directions, leaving only Blanc standing where he was, cold sweat pouring down his face. Blanc struggled to remain composed and said calmly to Goku, "Commander Red is dead. I'm the new commander now! Son Goku, your strength is unmatched. Join forces with us! If you're willing, we can rule the whole world together!"
Goku frowned slightly and looked at Blanc impatiently. He had never been interested in ruling the world. Right now, his only goal was to find the Dragon Balls. Without saying anything more, Goku strode toward Blanc and threw a punch!
In an instant, Blanc was blasted apart by the tremendous force and collapsed to the floor. Commander Red and Blanc's ambitions vanished like smoke, and silence returned to the main control room. Only the two Dragon Balls scattered across the floor glowed faintly.
Goku picked up the Dragon Balls and carefully placed them in his backpack. He counted them. There were already six Dragon Balls in his bag. Now, only the last one remained!
"Just one Dragon Ball left," Goku murmured, a trace of anticipation flashing in his eyes before he turned and walked out of the main control room.
Goku stood at the castle entrance, thinking that Bulma, Master Roshi, and the others might already be on their way.
Sure enough, not long afterward, a roaring sound came from the distant sky as a small plane slowly descended onto the roadside.
Goku immediately ran over excitedly, just in time to meet Bulma, Master Roshi, Krillin, Yamcha, and Blonde Launch as they emerged from the plane.
The moment Bulma saw Goku, she rushed toward him, reproach written all over her face. "Goku! How could you come to the Red Ribbon Army headquarters alone? This place is full of danger!"
Master Roshi smiled faintly as well and said earnestly, "Goku, that was too reckless. No matter how strong you are, you still need to be careful."
Krillin and Yamcha also looked at him with concern. Krillin joked, "Goku, don't leave us behind next time. We want to help too!"
Goku smiled and scratched the back of his head. "It's fine, it's all taken care of! The Red Ribbon Army doesn't exist anymore." His tone was relaxed and confident, as though everything he had just gone through had been no more than a trivial matter.
Master Roshi drew a deep breath. Looking at Goku, his gaze held a trace of admiration and awe. "Goku, you've already surpassed even me."
Krillin and Yamcha exchanged a glance and sighed. "Goku's improving way too quickly. It's impossible to imagine what the future will be like!"
Once Bulma, Master Roshi, and the others confirmed that Goku was completely unharmed, the worry in their hearts finally eased. Just as they were preparing to fly back to Kame House, Goku said that he wanted to continue searching for the last Dragon Ball.
Bulma asked, "Goku, are you really going alone? The radar isn't showing the location of the last Dragon Ball!"
Goku nodded and smiled. "It's okay, I know where it is. If we wait for it to show up on the radar, we might never find it." Secretly, he was glad that he had watched the Dragon Ball anime before crossing over and knew why the final Dragon Ball had disappeared from the radar—it had been hidden by Emperor Pilaf.
Bulma stared at the radar in confusion. The signal for the last Dragon Ball never appeared, and she even began to suspect that the radar was broken.
Goku explained that someone had hidden the Dragon Ball using a special method, which was why the radar could not detect it.
Goku mounted the Somersault Cloud, bid everyone farewell, and flew in Emperor Pilaf's direction.
Sitting on the Somersault Cloud, he recalled that Emperor Pilaf drove a very conspicuous pink Mercedes.
The Somersault Cloud sped through the sky as Goku's sharp eyes swept over the traffic below.
With his keen eyesight, he soon spotted an unusually conspicuous pink car in the distance. Goku's eyes lit up as he confirmed that it was Emperor Pilaf's car.
