Outsider, You Know Too Much

The next morning, the neatly dressed pair stepped out of the tent. A faint flush still lingered on Robin's face, but her eyes held a newfound resolve and tenderness.

Dawn stored the tent in the Storage Space, naturally took Robin's hand, and headed toward Angel Island. (I actually wanted to write that he held her in his arms here, but their height difference really is a bit too much...)

Along the way, Dawn began collecting Shandora's gold. With a simple touch of his hand, vast amounts of gold vanished into the Pocket Dimension.

The golden bricks in the walls, the gold tiles on the roofs, the gold paving stones in the streets—the entire city visibly shed its splendid outer layer, exposing the rocky foundations beneath.

Such a huge disturbance naturally could not go unnoticed.

A figure raced down from the top of the Giant Jack. It was a winged pegasus with pink skin dotted by black spots, ridden by an old man in a silver helmet with a thick white goatee.

Gan Fall, the current ruler of the Sky Islands.

Holding a Knight's Lance, he reined in Pierre, the Heavenly Point Bird that had eaten the Horse-Horse Fruit, and came to an abrupt stop before them.

Gan Fall looked down at the two of them. Noticing that they lacked the distinctive wings of Sky Island people, he frowned deeply. Then he glanced at the goldless Shandora, and his face darkened.

"Blue Sea people, hand over the gol—"

Before he could finish his line, Dawn's free hand shot out. Before Gan Fall could react, he had already grabbed one of Pierre's legs.

Pierre let out a terrified neigh as Dawn swung his entire body around and smashed him heavily into Shandora's ground, blasting out a crater and sending shattered stones flying.
