Thick bolts of lightning, each as wide as an arm, tore through the air and lunged at the pair from every angle. They intertwined into a net in midair, sealing off every avenue of escape. Each bolt was powerful enough to pierce rock.

Smoke and dust filled the cloud road as electricity scattered everywhere. The onlooking residents had already fled completely. In a battle like this, even getting grazed meant being reduced to nothing.
