David's Revenge cut through the morning mist and slowly sailed into the harbor.

Violet gave a slight nod, and her eyes, blessed with extraordinary vision, instantly deepened. Standing by the rail, her gaze seemed to pierce through the distance, taking in every inch of Drum Island.

A moment later, she said softly:

"Found him. In the reindeer habitat in the northern part of the island, there's a little blue-nosed one being ostracized by the herd."

Dawn nodded, then took Padong ashore with him and headed in the direction Violet had indicated.
