A muffled sound of a sharp blade piercing flesh rang out.
Monet had been distracted while blocking the three massive blades copied from the Biscuit Fruit head-on. She failed to notice the Biscuit Soldier circling around behind her, and its giant blade viciously struck her shoulder.
A bone-deep wound instantly burst open, blood gushing out as she was flung backward like a discarded sack of rags.
She fiercely beat the bat wings on her back, barely steadying herself in midair. Her silver teeth clenched tight, and dense beads of cold sweat formed across her forehead.
Azure high-voltage currents erupted from her body once more, madly stimulating every cell within her. Even as tearing pain ripped through her meridians, she did not retreat in the slightest. She gripped the Crimson Thunder Blade in her hand again and charged straight at the advancing Biscuit Soldiers.
She had only one thought—she could not retreat, and she could not lose. Dawn believed in them, so she absolutely could not let him down.
