"You're awake. The surgery was a success. You're a girl now, Miss Zoro."
As he opened his heavy eyelids, a blinding white ceiling came into view. Just as he tried to move, Zoro heard a smug, irritating voice by his ear.
He could not even be bothered to lift his eyelids. The first thing he did was assess the condition of his body. Sure enough, his chest felt heavy, with an unfamiliar and bizarre sensation.
"Doc Q really did something completely unnecessary."
Realizing at once what had happened to him, Zoro hurriedly activated the Haki within his body and forcibly dispelled the Virus Fruit's effects.
The strange feeling quickly faded. Only then did he sit up and coldly glare at the gloating Sanji beside him.
"Tch. Your original appearance really is much more of an eyesore."
Sanji curled his lips, though the smile on his face was impossible to hide.
"If you like it so much, have Doc Q operate on you too," Zoro shot back, his gaze unfriendly.
"No, I still prefer being a man." Grinning, Sanji pulled out a stack of photographs and waved them before Zoro's eyes.
"Oh, right. I took pictures of how you looked just now. They came out pretty good too."
"Give them to me!"
Veins bulged on Zoro's forehead. Ignoring the fact that he had only just recovered, he lunged forward. The two instantly began wrestling, rolling around the hospital room amid a series of loud crashes.
"Hmm, looks like the treatment really was a success."
Behind the hospital room window, Dawn watched the two fooling around and nodded in satisfaction.
Reiju and Kuina, standing nearby, were both covered in black lines. They clutched their foreheads in anguish, wishing they could crawl into a crack in the ground.
Late at night.
