A few minutes passed, and Dawn's brow furrowed slightly. He could feel the pressure coming from his arms growing heavier and heavier, his muscles beginning to protest with aching pain, and the ground could no longer provide enough support.
Looks like, with my current pure physical strength, my limit ends right here. But thankfully, I'm still young and in a period of rapid strength growth; this is my capital...
With that thought, a ring of dazzling golden ripples, like ripples on the surface of water, suddenly burst forth with Dawn's palms pressing against the hull as the center. The ripples expanded instantly, covering the entire ship-bottom contact surface.
A terrifying force struck the Nostra Castello with a roar!
The massive hull was fiercely flipped over by this terrifying top-down gravity. The ship tilted sideways, its caterpillar treads spinning vainly, and finally, amidst a deafening roar and flying smoke, gravel, and wood chips all over the sky, this giant beast flipped sideways onto the ground, completely losing its mobility.
"Aah—!"
"Help!"
Along with the flipping of the pirate ship, the Capone Family members on board fell from the deck in screams like dumplings dropping into a pot.
Most of them crashed heavily onto the hard ground or scattered ship structures, breaking bones on the spot and wailing, instantly losing their combat capability.
Amidst the billowing smoke, a thick piece of ship armor was pushed open from the inside. Capone Bege, whose body parts were transformed into castle walls and who had barely weathered the impact through hard defense, crawled out looking somewhat disheveled.
The moment he raised his head, he saw the blonde-haired, cold-eyed teenager locking onto him, breaking through the smoke at an astonishing speed and closing in on him.
Dawn's calm and expressionless face appeared more terrifying to Capone Bege than any ferocious countenance.
A chill shot straight from the soles of his feet to his crown, but the ferocity he had cultivated from years of dominating the West Blue underground world suppressed his urge to turn and run immediately.
What a monster...
Bege cursed in a low voice, a fierce gleam flashing in his eyes.
I refuse to believe that your defense is as freakish as your strength!
With a thought, dense little doors opened all over the surface of his body, and ripple-like waves spread across them.
Countless figures swarmed out from those small doors like a tide, passed through the ripples, and quickly returned to normal size.
In just a few breaths, more than several hundred fully armed Capone Family elite members appeared on this chaotic battlefield, vaguely surrounding Dawn.
Without Capone Bege giving the order, these well-trained mafiosos raised the weapons in their hands—from old-fashioned flintlocks to advanced portable hand cannons, and on to fierce submachine guns—aimed at the blonde youth in the smoke, and pulled the triggers without hesitation.
Bang bang bang!
Rat-a-tat-tat!
Boom!
For a time, the sounds of gunfire and cannons were deafening, and countless bullets and shells, like a violent metal storm, instantly completely covered and swallowed Dawn's location.
Flashes of fire constantly appeared, and the smoke kicked up by the explosions grew even denser, completely obscuring his figure. The surrounding ground was blasted into pockmarks and utter ruin.
The Capone Family members nervously watched the area covered by firepower, and seeing no movement within, they couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, then once again burst into surviving-the-disaster-like jeers.
"He's dead!"
"Serves him right for acting so arrogant!"
"Under that kind of firepower, it's impossible for anyone to survive!"
However, in the next moment, their laughter stopped abruptly as if their throats had been choked.
Amidst the billowing smoke, a figure slowly strolled out.
Dawn, still in that immaculate white shirt and black trousers, didn't even have a single strand of his dazzling, long golden hair out of place.
He walked out just like that, taking a leisurely stroll, his cold gaze sweeping over the dumbfounded mafiosos around him, the corners of his mouth even curving into an imperceptible sneer.
"How is that possible?!"
Capone Bege's eyeballs almost popped out as he frantically waved his arms.
"Attack! Keep attacking! Don't stop!"
More subordinates were released from the castle within his body, joining the ranks of the attack. The firepower grew even denser, pouring onto Dawn like a deadly rainstorm.
Yet all of this was in vain.
Dawn was enveloped in a layer of imperceptible yet truly existing "Gravity Armor" around his body.
The highly compressed and condensed gravitational field formed an absolute defense domain around his body. The moment bullets or shells made contact with this layer of the domain, they were either crushed by the terrifying gravity.
He ignored this saturated attack capable of destroying an army, his pace unceasing, and instead suddenly accelerated, charging into the dense ranks of the Capone Family like a tiger entering a flock of sheep.
Bang! Throwing a punch, his arm wrapped in gravitational fluctuations directly smashed a gun-toting, sweeping mafioso along with his weapon into a distorted mixture of metal and flesh.
A hand-blade swept past, and another enemy's neck bent at a bizarre angle, the light in his eyes instantly dimming.
Stamping a foot, centered on the landing point, a small-scale gravitational shock wave spread out, simultaneously rattling the bones of five or six surrounding enemies and sending them flying while coughing up blood.
His Taijutsu was exquisite and efficient, without any superfluous movements, every strike accompanied by the crisp cracking of bones and dying wails.
With the blessing of the Gravity Armor, every attack he made carried the effect of gravity crushing, causing his already immense strength to produce devastating destructive power. The Capone Family members fell in rows like harvested wheat.
This was not a fight at all, but rather a one-sided slaughter.
Seeing the foundation he had painstakingly built up appear as fragile as paper-mâché in the opponent's hands, Capone Bege finally grew thoroughly terrified.
That bizarre defense was simply unbreakable, and the opponent's close-combat ability was terrifying to an outrageous degree. Staying any longer meant certain death!
With a thought, his legs instantly transformed, turning into rotating tank treads, kicking up dust as he bolted to make his escape toward the other side of the coast.
"The Godfather goes first!"
"Stop him!"
Executives Gotti and Vito, leading a group of loyalists with reddened eyes, waved their weapons and launched a suicidal charge at Dawn, attempting to buy time for Capone Bege's escape.
Yet their actions were no different from a mantis trying to stop a chariot.
Dawn, clad in his Gravity Armor, was simply not someone they could stop. He didn't even bother to attack deliberately, merely maintaining his forward charge; those mafiosis attempting to close in on him were either directly crushed by the gravitational field or sent flying with a casual wave of his hand, their bones broken.
In less than a dozen seconds, all the obstacles before him were cleared away, and save for the escaping Capone Bege, not a single member of the Capone Family was left alive.
