Ye ignored him, but noticed that Obito was absentmindedly sneaking glances toward the window.

Following Obito's gaze, Ye saw a cute girl with short brown hair and purple markings on her cheeks.

Rin Nohara.

Ye leaned close to Obito's ear. "Obito, what are you looking at?"

Obito jumped, his face instantly reddening all the way to his neck as he stammered.

"N-Nothing."

"That girl... it'll be her turn to introduce herself soon. I was just... curious what her name is."

Ye looked at Obito's innocent young-love expression and sneered inwardly.

This idiot had fallen head over heels for Rin the moment he saw her.

"You want to know her name?"

Ye raised a brow.

"Huh? Yeah..." Obito nodded shyly.

"Leave it to me."

Ye patted his chest, looking completely righteous. "I'll go ask her for you right now."

Obito suddenly turned, gratitude shining in his eyes. "Huh? Really?! Ye, you're such a great guy! Thanks!"

As soon as he spoke, Obito realized something was wrong. "Wait, class is still in session..."

Ye ignored Obito's attempts to stop him.

He abruptly rose to his feet and, under the astonished gazes of the entire classroom, swaggered out of his seat and walked straight toward Rin Nohara.

"Uchiha Ye! Where do you think you're going?!"

The teacher on the podium had just called the next student's name. Seeing Ye's actions, he immediately flew into a rage.

Ye turned a deaf ear.

He stopped in front of Rin Nohara's desk.

Rin had been about to stand and introduce herself. Seeing Ye stalk over so aggressively, she froze, completely at a loss.

Ye lowered his head slightly and looked at Rin.

The classroom fell silent.

At the back of the room, Obito craned his neck and nervously swallowed. Ye really is loyal. Just as expected of my brother!

Ye suddenly raised his right hand and slammed it against the wall beside Rin's seat with a bang.
