The Training Ground fell deathly silent.
Everyone looked as if their throats had been seized, unable to make even the slightest sound.
Tekka's knees went weak, and he staggered back a step. Naraku sucked in a sharp breath.
Six years old, with a One-Tomoe Sharingan.
As fellow members of the Uchiha Clan, they understood better than anyone what that meant!
Kakashi's breathing completely fell apart as he stared fixedly at those scarlet eyes.
Ye gave him no time to catch his breath. With a stomp, his speed became more than twice what it had been before.
The Sharingan's dynamic vision was fully activated.
Every contraction of Kakashi's muscles, every breath he was about to take, was within Ye's predictions.
From that moment on, Ye tucked his right hand into his pocket.
He would use only his left hand.
He slapped aside Kakashi's straight punch, caught his wrist in a backhand grip, and yanked downward.
No matter how frenziedly Kakashi attacked, Ye's left hand always sealed off his path in advance.
With one hand, he beat Kakashi until he could not fight back at all—a complete and utter humiliation.
People at the edge of the field were already dumbfounded, mouths hanging open as they forgot even to breathe.
Kakashi was about to be forced into a corner by a single hand.
Ye slowly pulled his right hand out of his pocket.
A battered old wooden comb missing several teeth appeared in his hand.
Under Kakashi's murderous glare.
Ye smoothly defused Kakashi's killing moves with his left hand while leisurely raising the wooden comb to straighten his bangs.
As they fought, Ye slipped behind Kakashi with a sliding step.
Then casually combed Kakashi's hair twice.
The comb's teeth were already flimsy. They snagged twice, and with a crack, three teeth snapped off and scattered across the ground.
"Not to criticize you, Kakashi, but can't you spare some money for conditioner? Your hair is way too rough."
Ye disdainfully tossed the broken wooden comb aside and began gesturing grandly like some lord surveying his domain.

Kakashi's eyes had turned bloodshot, and his gaze looked ready to devour Ye alive.
Ye immediately flipped his right hand over and produced another Kunai.
In the fierce close-quarters fight, the sharp Kunai spun rapidly between his fingers, producing a dazzling blur of blade flourishes.
But that was not all.
At the critical moment, Ye used a left-handed grappling move to lock both of Kakashi's arms in place.
He released the Kunai, reached into his pocket with his right hand, and pulled out a red loop of string. With two fingers, he stretched and wound it around.
Before the shattered worldview of the entire class, and beneath Gang Ziyun's constipated expression.
In the middle of a practical combat lesson, Ye took two seconds to make a standard "bridge" shape.
Then he flicked his fingers again, perfectly transforming it into an exceptionally neat "Eiffel Tower."
One-handed?
Cat's cradle?

Listening to the System Panel's notifications, Ye could not hold it in.
"Pfft."
That brief laugh became the final straw that broke the camel's back.
Kakashi stared blankly at the red string in Ye's hand, at those eerie One-Tomoe Sharingan eyes.
And listened to that casual "laughter."
Just how little did he think of me?
He was doing one-handed cat's cradle in the middle of a real fight—and he was fucking laughing?!
Was I really that much of a joke to him?
A crisp crack sounded in Kakashi's mind.
The pride of a genius was shredded to pieces by that red string.
He felt like a pathetic clown desperately turning somersaults beneath a giant's feet.

The dense notifications blended into one continuous stream.
Ye's final palm strike landed lightly on Kakashi's chest.
Bang!
Kakashi flew backward, slammed heavily into a wooden post, and slid down to the ground.
His silver hair fell over his eyes, concealing those dead-fish eyes filled with humiliation and self-doubt.
His legs lost all strength, and he dropped directly to his knees in the dirt, his head hanging deeply.
The entire Training Ground was silent as death. Ye casually put the string loop back into his pocket and returned both hands to his pockets.
As he turned, the corner of his eye caught sight of the Training Ground entrance.
A figure with messy hair was gripping the doorframe, standing there completely stiff.
Obito had clearly just rushed out of the infirmary, with half a painkiller tablet still clenched between his teeth.
His gaze was locked onto Ye's eyes as their scarlet color slowly faded, as well as that utterly showy spectacle.
The tablet fell from Obito's mouth and shattered into two pieces on the ground.

Obito was dumbfounded.
He had spent all night preparing his grand entrance, only for Ye to become the main character?
And the Sharingan he had nearly sacrificed half his life to awaken last night—this bastard had one too?
And he used it to beat Kakashi senseless with one hand?
Then even played cat's cradle afterward?!

Ye glanced at Obito by the entrance and gave him a heartwarming smile.
At the side of the field, Gang Ziyun's Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed a huge mouthful of saliva.
The expression on his face could no longer be described as merely complicated.
He mechanically waved a hand.
"The new students' sparring session... is officially over."
With stiff movements, he rolled up the class roster in his hand and stuffed it into a manila file folder.
Then he handed it to the instructor beside him and lowered his voice.
"Send it to the Hokage Building immediately. Mark it urgent."
The instructor accepted the file folder with both hands.
He glanced at Ye, who was strolling back with both hands in his pockets, then sprinted out of the Training Ground without looking back.
The sparring session ended, and the new students filed back in and returned to their seats.
But everyone deliberately detoured around the same seat: Uchiha Ye's seat by the window in the back row.
Perhaps feeling humiliated about being seated in the front, Kakashi dragged his bandage-wrapped legs into a corner in the last row.
Without saying a word, he lay down on the desk and buried his head deeply in his arms.
When Asuma passed Ye's seat, he pressed himself against the wall on the other side, detouring carefully with an expression of extreme reverence.
He even deliberately slowed his breathing, afraid of stepping on the shadow of this living King of Hell.
Gang Ziyun walked onto the podium.
He swept his gaze over the class and accurately caught the looks everyone gave Ye.
Those looks were no different from the way they would look at a monster.
Gang Ziyun took a deep breath, curled his knuckles, and rapped hard against the blackboard, producing two dull bangs.
"Quiet. Uchiha Ye, stand up."
The whole class jolted.
"Tell the entire class how you managed to do it."
Gang Ziyun tried his best to make his tone sound as stern and authoritative as an elder's.
"Awakening the Sharingan at six years old, and Taijutsu powerful enough to crush opponents."
"Your training methods could serve as a reference for the other students."
Ye slowly rose from his chair.
His hands remained in his pockets, his posture loose and relaxed.
Faced with the questioning, he did not even need half a second to think. His calm face was filled with righteous conviction.
The entire class held its breath.
Dozens of eyes stared fixedly at him, wishing they could record every word from his mouth and carve it into their minds.
This had to be a secret technique never passed down outside the Uchiha Clan!
Ye looked around the room and spoke.
"Actually, there's no secret to it."
"The reason I'm this strong is entirely because every day after school."
"I train in Taijutsu beyond my limits with my best friend, Might Guy."
