On the grass of the Third Training Ground, a biting chill crept wildly across the ground.
The turf that had been scorching under the blazing sun just moments ago froze into a sheet of white frost in the blink of an eye.
The temperature continued dropping without reason. The entire ground froze as hard as an iron plate, crunching beneath anyone who stepped on it.
The wooden posts in the distance were coated in a thick shell of ice.
Obito crouched by the edge of a muddy pit in the distance, vigorously rubbing his arms with both hands. His teeth chattered even faster than his lips could move.
"Th-this is Ice Release?!"
"The Uchiha Clan has been secretly evolving behind my back?!"
Shivering, he stared at the frigid white mist, his face gradually turning green.
Just then, the ice beneath Minato's feet in the center of the field cracked loudly!
Dozens of translucent Ice Mirrors condensed out of thin air, as if someone had brutally hammered them one by one into the air.
Each stood as tall as an adult, their surfaces smooth enough to reflect a person's image.
They formed a hemispherical formation, layered densely around Minato at the center.
The gaps between the Ice Mirrors were particularly devious, precisely narrow enough that an adult could not squeeze through sideways.
To the left.
To the right.
Overhead.
Behind him.
No blind spots in any direction.
Sunlight shone into the Ice Mirror formation and refracted into countless fragmented specks of light, making one's eyes ache from the glare.
Minato looked around. Every Ice Mirror reflected Uchiha Ye's figure.
Some had their hands in their pockets.
Some were calmly forming hand seals.
Some tilted their heads and smiled at him.
One even raised a hand without the slightest concern for appearances
