With the sound of breaking water, an enormous snake's head emerged from below, and Ji Yuan finally got a clear look at the great serpent.

Blue-brown scales covered its entire body, and moss even grew in places along its back. Its raised forebody alone was over ten meters long. Including the portion hidden underwater, it was probably a full thirty or forty meters in length!

Big Clam had been grievously wounded by a single bite from it, but the serpent hadn't escaped unscathed either.

Its scales were scattered and broken, with bloody flesh laid bare in many places. Its head, in particular, had been battered so badly that its mouth wouldn't close. Its entire skull looked crushed out of shape.

Even so, the serpent kept flicking its tongue, which was as thick as a grown man's waist.

Big Clam had nearly been bitten to death.

The two were truly evenly matched.
