Function

• A Storage Bag holds items in an internal spatial compartment and is generally accessed by injecting spiritual energy and refining it. Ji Yuan refines an unclaimed bag to inspect its contents, while Lin Hu lightly refines one to claim ownership. 90 111

• They are used to carry Spirit Stones, talismans, pills, magical artifacts, cultivation materials, corpses, and other bulky goods. 67 97 201

• Storage capacity differs greatly by quality:

Security and Limitations

• A Storage Bag protects its contents from Yao Jingfeng’s theft spell, which can only steal objects carried outside the body. Ji Yuan therefore keeps a decoy bag with minor goods while carrying his valuable bag against his chest. 80
• Bags may contain tracking or identification restrictions. Before searching Jian Zong’s bag, Ji Yuan burns it with fire techniques and has Tu Yue sort its contents, fearing Medicine King Valley could trace its last user. 134
• A bag can be destroyed by sufficiently powerful attacks; Luo Tian’s detonation of eight Water Thunder Pellets obliterates his Storage Bag along with his body. 90
• Ji Yuan later hides Storage Bags within Lingtai Square-Inch Mountain, itself concealed in his dantian, rendering ordinary tracking methods ineffective. 359

• Hu Da’s Storage Bag — A three-foot-cubed bag, substantially larger than Ji Yuan’s original one-foot-cubed bag. 67
• Jian Zong’s Storage Bag — Examined only after Ji Yuan takes precautions against possible tracking restrictions; its contents include 453 Low-Grade and 89 Middle-Grade Spirit Stones, talismans, pills, artifacts, and the Thousandfold Chains Talisman Treasure. 134
• Ma Xingkong’s belt — A seemingly ordinary Mid-Grade Magical Artifact belt whose central jade contains a one-foot-cubed hidden storage space holding Yin Ghost Sect items. 197

• He routinely searches fallen enemies’ bags for resources, often treating their contents as the most valuable consequence of a dangerous victory. 37 67 198
• He uses small Storage Bags to give Lin Hu four self-made talismans and a bottle of breakthrough pills before departing for the Water Dragon Sect. 109 111
• He stores the Yin Ghost Banner, corpses, Spirit Artifacts, and other dangerous possessions inside Storage Bags when they are not in use. 195 247
• He sometimes avoids taking conspicuous treasures from enemy bags when doing so could expose him to retaliation, as when he leaves Xuanweizi’s Talisman Treasure behind before reporting the Spirit Vein incident. 202
