Inside Immortal Prison Hall.
Congratulations thundered through the hall like mountains roaring and seas surging.
The Nascent Soul experts within still stood with their heads bowed in salute.
Their gazes toward the figure in blue robes were full of awe.
Ji Yuan stood before the seat of honor and raised a hand. The clamorous hall fell so silent a dropped needle could be heard.
The Ghost Envoy's voice sounded once more in his Sea of Consciousness.
"Follow the mountain downward until you reach the underground earth vein. Then follow the vein forward, and at the end, you'll find a Bronze Gate.
"Push open that Bronze Gate, and you'll see me."
With those two sentences, the Ghost Envoy's presence vanished completely. Not a trace of him remained, as though he had never appeared.
Ji Yuan's heart gave a slight jolt.
Outwardly, however, he remained composed, betraying nothing.
Only Feng Zhitáo, standing closest to him, keenly caught the flash of alarm in his eyes.
She asked nothing and waited quietly for his instructions.
Whatever had happened, this founding ceremony was no place to press him.
Ji Yuan drew a deep breath and suppressed the thoughts surging through his mind.
His gaze swept over the people in the hall, and he spoke in a deep voice.
"Immortal Prison has only just been founded. We must first establish its rules and structure."
"Today, we establish the Immortal Prison Elders' Council to govern sect affairs together."
The moment he finished, everyone in the hall instinctively held their breath, watching him intently as they waited for him to continue.
"Yun Qianzai shall be First Elder of Immortal Prison, responsible for the sect's formations, its mountain-protecting array, and the placement of all restrictions."
At the front of the crowd, Yun Qianzai gave a slight nod. "Very well."
