Ji Yuan watched as Long Liuli brought him to an island.
An utterly ordinary island. It had no grand buildings or breathtaking wonders.
All it had was a little lake enclosed by stone walls.
The entire island was only a few miles across, too.
Of course, that was merely how it looked to Ji Yuan.
He could not sense it, but he had a vague suspicion that a Formation lay here.
And its grade was certainly not low.
Unfortunately, he could not activate his Truth-Piercing Divine Eye to find out.
"Yes, this is it." Long Liuli smiled and walked toward the lake. "Come on. Follow me and you'll see."
As she spoke, her figure grew fainter until she vanished completely.
Long Yun and Long Fei exchanged a reflexive glance, both at a loss.
"Come on. We'll find out if we follow her."
They were already in the Horned Dragon Ancestral Land, so Ji Yuan saw no reason to worry. He immediately followed.
The moment his feet touched the still water, he felt something unusual, just as he had expected.
A gentle force surged from all around the lake and enveloped him. Then he felt a sensation much like stepping into a Teleportation Formation.
Clearly, this Formation could teleport people as well.
He walked deeper. His body suddenly turned upside down beyond his control, and the lake beneath his feet flipped above him to become the sky. Solid ground formed underfoot once more.
For a moment, he felt as though he had returned to the Thunder Pool.
I've been away so long. I wonder which faction has the Thunder Pool now. Has whatever Fourth Senior Brother said was behind it been released?
