More than ten minutes later, the Water Qilin ran beneath the tree.
In an instant, a tongue lashed out from the branches. Its target was none other than the round-bellied Zhu Chixia.

Nameless landed and prodded the chameleon's corpse with his blade. Its body had changed too: its eyes had become a fly's.
"Oh my god, that scared me to death," Zhu Chixia said, only now catching up with what had happened.
Ma Lie said helplessly, "Old Zhu, you really ought to train properly. Newcomer City may be safe, but what if you run into danger?"
"I know. I'll train hard when we get back," Zhu Chixia said.
Nameless smiled. "What he needs most is actual combat experience. A Mirror Hall will be opening soon, and you can both give it a try. Inside, you can fight yourself without worrying that more people will learn what you can do. You can also discover your weaknesses through the fight and work on them."
"Really? Then I'll definitely pay it a visit!" Ma
