Enemies. Lots of enemies!
Nameless made the call at once. Footsteps moving at the same pace in the same direction could not have come from wild animals.
At his command, a mass of Insectified Beasts gathered toward the sound. The next moment, scalding liquid sprayed from ahead, leaving billowing white smoke in its wake. A wild boar failed to dodge and was struck. It turned into a character and fell to the ground, more than half of it charred.
Then a dense crowd burst from the thick, low shrubs. One of them had a tail structured somewhat like a scorpion's stinger, though it was actually the body of a bombardier beetle.

An Insectified Person noticed Nameless. The next moment, they swung their rear toward him and shot out a strand of spider silk.
Little Squirrel leaped up at once. After dodging the silk, he wrapped his tail around a branch overhead and climbed higher. But if one Insectified Person noticed Nameless, all of them noticed him.
A great many Insectified People looked up at Nameless. One exceptionally fast fighter abandoned their opponent, scrambled up a tree,
