Forget it.
Sometimes it was better not to know.
Nameless suddenly found his Zen in the silence and ate the chocolate bird in one bite.
Humans ate plenty of animals with their excrement still inside them. Snails and shellfish, for example—even if they were raised in the cleanest conditions, traces of waste would remain in their innards.
Plenty of people still ate them with relish.
And on a grander scale, many powerful demonic cultivators swallowed entire universes, absorbing everything within to nourish themselves. Assuming those universes contained living beings, and all those beings had to defecate, then by a generous rounding of the numbers, hadn't those world-devouring experts eaten more shit than anyone could count?
So how could a little shit shake his conviction?
Nameless flew leisurely through the air, following the route he had planned.
The Dairy Cow Clan and Pearl Chicken Clan were hardly the only inhabitants of Cake Star. Thirty minutes later, Nameless spotted a flock of sheep resisting an attack from a wolf pack.
The sheep's wool was all cotton candy and gummy candy, while the wolves' gray fur was cocoa paste and frosting. Both leaders stood at the front. Every so often, the sheep charged as a flock, and the wolves scattered before pursuing any stragglers. The two sides kept pulling back and forth like this.
Nameless slowly descended from the sky. The sheep and wolves immediately drew apart, all watching him as though facing a formidable enemy.
"Hello!" Nameless greeted them with a smile and a raised hand.
The flock's leader was a pink sheep. There seemed to be too little cotton candy on his body, leaving his powerful physique visible beneath it. Those bulging muscles made him look decidedly strange—not so much a sheep as some other alien species pretending to be one.
