Nameless jerked the hook, and a Little Red Riding Hood Fish immediately left the water and landed on the deck. It bounced around adorably, so Nameless pulled out his gun and shot it.
He removed the hook, placed the paralyzed Little Red Riding Hood Fish into a bucket, and continued fishing.
Because they were easy to fool, Little Red Riding Hood Fish were considered Introductory Grade fish in the Fairy Tale Sea, roughly equivalent to Mobile Phone Fish. Nameless was completely unfazed by catching one.
As an experienced angler, his goal was simple now: Legendary Fish. Only Legendary Fish could be exchanged for items in Meow Meow House.
Most importantly, the exchanged items could be taken away. They could not only be brought to the next level, but even beyond the Lost Door.
The problem was that Legendary Fish were not so easy to catch.
Under normal circumstances, Legendary Fish almost never appeared. In other words, the odds of catching one were close to zero. They only appeared during certain special weather conditions.
For instance, the Particle Accelerator Fish only appeared during the Thunder God Birth Festival. At other times, it would not show itself at all, much less let itself be caught.
Both Prince Fish and Princess Fish likewise required specific conditions before they could be caught.
For example, the Snow White Fish required Poison Apple Bait. Otherwise, even if the Princess Fish took the hook, it could not be reeled in.
The problem was how to obtain a Poison Apple. The Bestiary did not mention it at all, and Nameless had no idea how to acquire that bait. He could not even reach the threshold for catching Legendary Fish.
For the entire day, Nameless caught Little Red Riding Hood Fish and Big Bad Wolf Fish. Neither
