Mutation Eye

Zhang Ping's eyes itched. The next moment, he felt as if something were about to burst out of them.

All around him in the crowd, some people turned into crocodile-headed monsters, others sprouted enormous horns, and one person opened his mouth and breathed fire.

"Everyone, get out of the way! I can't hold it back!"

Zhang Ping roared and instinctively jerked his head up. Two red beams shot from his eyes, punching two huge holes through the clouds.

Everyone who saw it was stunned.

A guy who had grown a bull's head stared, dumbfounded. After a long moment, he muttered, "That's insane!"

The two beams kept firing for a full half minute before Zhang Ping felt where the switch was. The red glow in his eyes gradually contracted, and the beams vanished in a blink.

"What's going on? Have you all awakened?" Zhang Ping asked the others in surprise.

The minotaur jolted and hurriedly shook his head. "I don't know. My head suddenly felt really heavy. I don't know anything."

"With a head that big, of course it's heavy," Zhang Ping said, nodding sympathetically.

His pupils were still changing, now round, now vertical like a snake's, then turning into double pupils, star-shaped pupils, heart-shaped pupils...

None of those eyes seemed to have any special function. Besides...
