Suyang had originally possessed six killing moves. Combined with the passive ability Seven Malicious Slays, he had been extraordinarily powerful.
But after Nameless killed him once, Suyang had lost one of those lethal effects. His machete could no longer kill Nameless in a single blow.
Suyang surely knew this himself, but he did not want Nameless to realize it. So he kept making machete-shaped tree roots and mixing them into his attacks, hoping to pass fish eyes off as pearls.
Nameless did not care about dying, though. When he grew suspicious, he promptly spent a life to test his theory.
The result was clear: Suyang had indeed lost one of his killing moves, along with a life.

By now, roots covered the ground. The severed ones piled up, and as open flames spread through them, they formed a sea of fire. The roots were not bone-dry, either, so thick smoke billowed from them. The conditions on the battlefield kept worsening.
Nameless stopped controlling the Dragon Exoshell himself and handed control back to Information Control. Then he began silently reciting the Buzzing Sutra once more.
