Nameless looked at Marnie. She opened her eyes and said innocently, "I did my best."
She didn't know what the mirror did, but she could guarantee she hadn't skimmed a single piece of the gold owed to Nameless.
Nameless examined the mirror and found that it had two sides.
One reflected his face bathed in white light, with a golden sun even turning behind his head. The other showed the exact opposite: black mist rose from his face, and a moon slowly turned behind him.
He tried checking the mirror's attributes. Sure enough, a heap of Garbled Code appeared.
