If every enemy on the first level had been Level 1, people who had only just entered the Divine Treasure Space might not have cleared it quickly.
Failing to clear it quickly would have introduced too many variables.
That was clearly not what the designer wanted, so all the ordinary enemies on the first level were Level 0. Only the elites were Level 1.
Some might ask whether the designer had gone easy on challengers here on the sixtieth floor instead. After all, the ordinary enemies were Level 60, and so was the boss. Surely that made the boss easier to beat.
But the ordinary enemies on this floor were far from weak, and the Demon Wolf King was stronger still.
If the ordinary enemies had only just reached Level 60, the Demon Wolf King stood at its peak. They might have shared a Level, but the gap between them was substantial.
A true Level 60 challenger could never have swept away every ordinary enemy in an instant as Nameless had. Those enemies alone would have drained much of their strength and energy. By the time they faced the Demon Wolf King, they would no longer have been at their best. Whether they could defeat it while it was still unscathed was hard to say.
This level did pose a challenge.
