The energy flows subtly and smoothly, like wind and cloud, and guides my attacks on you into the void. Interesting!"

Then he looked at Sword Slave and smiled. "But what if I do this?"

As he spoke, he pressed a finger to Sword Slave's chest. Sword Slave could have abandoned his greatsword and retreated, but the problem was that he was Sword Slave.

Sword Slave was a slave to his sword. If he abandoned his greatsword, he would leave the formation's protection and die even faster.

In Nameless's eyes, his attack struck Sword Slave's chest, then spread through his body as countless fine golden threads before flowing swiftly toward the sky through a mark on his back.

Ordinarily, an enemy would not have been able to see this. But Nameless's attack had not stopped. He was still connected to those golden threads.
