Run!

Run faster!

Nameless ran faster and faster. The mouths around him seemed to sense someone passing and kept shooting out their tongues. He could only dodge through a barrage of attacks.

Pangolin dodged the tongues ahead of him, narrowly escaping again and again. But because he was in front, he was slightly safer.

"Almost there!"

Pangolin spotted the bend at the end of the passage and thought, Almost there!

Suddenly, Nameless overtook him. Pangolin's heart clenched, and he hurried to keep up. Before the mouths could react, they reached the other end of the passage.

The next instant, tongues shot out in a dense swarm, weaving a net across the passage that no one could possibly evade.

Nameless let out a small breath of relief. He could still have used the Dust Shell to dodge the attacks, but using it here was too dangerous. If a tongue stuck to the shell, he would surely end up like Little Drillwind. He had not dared use it even once.

"Sir... look!" After resting for a moment, Pangolin spoke in terror.

Nameless immediately looked where Pangolin was looking. In the passage to their left, countless arms waved about, as though trying to grab something.

Somehow, they seemed even more dangerous than the mouths.

"Sir, why don't we go back?" Pangolin asked, trembling with fear.

Nameless took a deep breath. Then his eyes fired lasers at the arms, slicing through them like lotus roots.

In an instant, severed arms littered the floor. The walls were covered in circular stumps, blood flowing from each one.

That somehow made it worse...

The corner of Nameless's mouth twitched. He glanced back the way they had come. The mouths apparently had not found an enemy and were gradually returning to normal, making endless clucking sounds.
