Owl sighed softly. There was no need to keep watching; the outcome was already decided. With its paws injured, the Armored Tiger could not escape the Noble Hunting Team's hunt.

In the end, the team's spearman drove a spear through its eye, the tip piercing deep into its skull and extinguishing its life.

Owl watched the Noble Hunting Team deftly dismember the Armored Tiger, then pack up its body parts and carry them away.

After the Noble Hunting Team left, Owl turned back toward the underground burrow and entered the Void Mushroom Market.

"Boy, still haven't found the Armored Tiger?" Zhu Reshi rose and walked to the window when he saw Owl return.

Owl sighed. "The noble hunters already got it."

"Is the Noble Hunting Team very strong?" the Dragon King asked.

Owl thought for a moment before replying, "Not really, but I can't just kill them because they got there first, can I?"

"Why not? If it were me, I'd slaughter them without a doubt. Anyone who fights me for prey deserves to die!" the Dragon King said bluntly.

Owl shook his head. "I can't do that."

For a fleeting instant, he had indeed been tempted, but he quickly suppressed the impulse.
