Below the rift, densely packed strands of hair wrapped around Sa and the snake clone, dragging them straight down into the Abyss.
Suddenly, time seemed to freeze. Owl appeared out of thin air right beside Sa. He swung his sword, severing the hair wound around her and the snake clone, then scooped her up with one arm as the snake clone swiftly coiled around his other arm.

Ripples spread through space, and the two vanished in an instant.
Then space and time returned to normal. Countless strands of hair writhed and curled, but Sa was nowhere to be found, so they erupted outward once more.
Many cultivators who arrived later mistakenly believed that someone had already abducted Owl and his companions. They turned on the cultivators who had arrived earlier and survived the fighting, raising the curtain on yet another great battle.
