The second after Black Jue sounded his warning, the Vengeful Ghost appeared above Li Xiao again, reaching both hands toward his head.
This time, Li Xiao did not dodge. Instead, he flicked his left thumb, splitting a drop of the waters of the Sea of Bitterness into two and shooting them straight at the Vengeful Ghost's hands. Naturally, the Vengeful Ghost dared not touch the waters of the Sea of Bitterness. At the moment when a thousand pounds hung by a single thread, he forcibly pulled his hands back.
But before he could disappear again, Black Jue and White Jue shot out their chains simultaneously. Like roaming dragons, the two chains bound the Vengeful Ghost's wrists in the blink of an eye.
The Vengeful Ghost let out a piercing shriek and tried to break free of the chains and flee. But Black Jue and White Jue reacted swiftly, drifting in opposite directions and dragging him down from above, pulling his arms out level with his shoulders.
Then they kicked their remaining chains, sending them swiftly onto the Vengeful Ghost. Some wrapped around his neck, some around his waist, and others around his ankles.
The two ghosts stretched the Vengeful Ghost into a spread-eagled position, leaving him completely immobilized. He could not even activate his divine abilities. All he could do was writhe and struggle, but it accomplished nothing.
"Young master, this is your chance! Kill him!" Black Jue shouted, gripping the Soul-Seizing Chain tightly.
Li Xiao did not attack. Instead, he smiled and slowly approached the Vengeful Ghost. The eyes beneath the ghost's tangled hair stared fixedly at him as he let out one piercing cry after another.
"Young master, be careful! This Vengeful Ghost might still have other tricks!" White Jue hurriedly
