As they chatted, Yucali gradually approached a cluster of islands. Chains of unimaginable size linked the islands together within the arboreal universe, and a towering spire stood on each island, crowned with a brilliant orb.

"How beautiful. Little Yukali, what is this place?" Aiou asked, marveling at the islands.
Yucali replied, "These are the Wizard Isles."
"So everyone on those islands is a wizard?" Aiou asked in surprise.
Like immortal cultivators, wizards had existed for an exceedingly long time. After the Eternal Kingdom disappeared, however, their traditions suffered a break, forcing many young wizards to begin their research anew from the fundamentals.
The Wizard Isles had emerged during the third cosmic annihilation era after the Eternal Kingdom's disappearance.
