Many people might subconsciously assume that, as an affiliated world of Infinite City, this world should be extremely prosperous, perhaps even possessing cities no weaker than those of many Great Thousand Worlds.
But that was not the case. Black Bala World was not particularly prosperous, far less so than Yongle City.
Black Bala World was not well-known within Infinite City. Like some little mountain village in China, aside from its own villagers, most people might not even know such a village existed.
Black Bala held precisely that sort of status. Apart from players connected to Black Bala, most others had never even heard of it, even though many players possessed Cold Jade produced in Black Bala.
After all, those who had eaten pork did not care where the pig had been raised.
Black City was Black Bala's only city. Its scale was very small, with merely 3.2 billion residents. The city was divided into eight districts, each managed by a deputy city lord, while the city lord, Wu Jing, generally remained in the City Lord's Manor cultivating.
Wu Jing was also something of a legend. He had never participated in any battle and had never personally killed anyone. The reason he became Black City's city lord was that he stood still and forcibly endured the combined strike of all eight deputy city lords. In the end, they acknowledged his strength, and he became city lord.
Wu Jing was not particularly tall, only 1.78 meters. His muscles were not especially developed either. Unlike many Westerners, whose muscles seemed larger block by block, his physique was closer to Bruce Lee's, perhaps even less impressive than Bruce Lee's.
