Background / History

Qian Xunji is Qian Daoliu and Xu Yanqiu’s elder son, Qian Xunzong’s older brother, and a member of the Qian Family’s “Xun” generation. At age twelve, he was already a Four-Ring Soul Ancestor. A sparring match in which he used excessive force nearly killed the original six-year-old Qian Xunzong; he was reprimanded by Qian Daoliu and showed immediate concern when his brother collapsed 1 2.

Although startled by Qian Xunzong’s unprecedented Twin Martial Souls and Innate Level Thirty Soul Power, Qian Xunji privately welcomed the possibility that his younger brother’s talent might spare him from eventually inheriting the burdens of the papacy 4. This hope proved short-lived: Qian Daoliu repeatedly assigned him Spirit Hall’s paperwork, resource coordination, personnel scheduling, and external correspondence, leaving him exhausted beneath mountains of memorials 22 30 62.

Qian Xunzong later gave him the Scarlet Flame Glazed Flower, an immortal herb suited to his light-and-fire attributes. The herb elevated him from level 42 to level 45 and transformed his Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul into the stronger Seraphim Martial Soul; Qian Daoliu immediately used the improvement as justification to transfer even more administration to him 30.

At the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s banquet, Qian Xunji accepted a Soul Fighting challenge from a Star Luo guard. He fought beyond his realm, broke through under pressure, and nearly defeated the opponent before the guard removed his cultivation seal and attempted to kill him. Personality

Qian Xunji is affectionate and protective toward his family. He hurried to Qian Xunzong’s side after the childhood sparring accident, later joined him in punishing Su Jian, and defended Gui Mei and Yue Guan because they served his younger brother 1 27 54.

He is also playful and easily exasperated. He naps over documents, complains openly about Qian Xunzong’s carefree life, and eagerly embraces luxuries such as the Cloudstep Light-Carriage—while retaining enough practical sense to eat before formal banquets with sparse food 22 62 66.

Despite his aversion to administration, he carries out the duties forced upon him and grows into a dependable Crown Prince. His enthusiasm during the family reunion contrasts sharply with his formal public role 62 168 171.
