Su Chen sent Ning Rongrong, Zhu Zhuqing, and Ye Lingling to hunt their fourth-ring spirit beasts alone in the Star Dou Forest, assigning each a dangerous target. Ye Lingling found her eight-thousand-year Jade Green Spirit Goose near the core and began her hunt, but it fled toward Star Lake.

Xiao Wu and the two Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts recognized one another, and Da Ming and Er Ming mistook her presence for being captured as a beast slave.

• Xiao Wu handled the fanatical visitors at Immortal Mountain while Su Chen was away hunting Spirit Rings with three students.
• As rumors spread and crowds gathered ahead of the match against Papal Hall, Xiao Wu wondered why Immortal would not take her as a disciple.

• Tang Hao opened a lead box and found it empty, then cried out that Ah Yin and the soul bone were missing.
