Heavenly Dao Has Neither Beginning nor End

Lin Xian knew someone would intervene. It had nothing to do with faith or will; it was an objective fact, a truism that happened to be true.

Carefree Heavenly Venerable, one of the Nine Heavenly Venerables at the Human Dao Summit, had nearly touched the Immortal Dao Domain. Yet even after barely striking the River of Time, he had never reached it.

The one truly drifting along the River of Time was the White Paper Boat. Lin Xian's Departed Self happened to be aboard as a passenger.

Human Dao beings could touch the River of Time, and Immortal Dao beings could study it. But to truly control and use it required a genuine powerhouse of the Emperor Realm, an Immortal Emperor.

The White Paper Boat was born on the Ultimate Battlefield when Ruthless Great Emperor found life in the jaws of death and stepped into the Sacrificial Path Realm as an Immortal Emperor.

"Only I am left." Those words spoke of sorrow stretching across the ages. They echoed through the All Worlds—past, future, and present—a grief no words could exhaust.

Corroded by the Dark Ancestors, the White Paper Boats drifting along the River of Time had turned into Black Paper Boats. Like ghosts, they haunted the ages, unable to fade away.

Only Lin Xian's boat remained white. Stained with Ruthless Great Emperor's blood, it held the mighty power of the Sacrificial Path.

A Dao Sacrificer sacrificed the supreme Dao, burned away rules and order, and destroyed past, present, and future.
