Background

Lin Xian begins as a self-aware mortal who considers health, longevity, and survival more realistic goals than immediate immortality. After meeting System 10086, he persuades it to abandon its rigid host-selection doctrine and pursue a mutually beneficial alliance instead. His novice reward, Qi-State Origin-Flow, opens his path of cultivation but also teaches him that a special skill cannot replace walking the immortal road himself. 2 3

When the Nine Dragons Pulling a Coffin descends upon Mount Tai, Lin Xian races to Jade Emperor Peak and throws himself into the Bronze Ancient Coffin before it departs. Among the abducted passengers, he adopts the identity of a Mount Longhu Celestial Master, becomes the group’s primary source of knowledge, and positions Ye Fan as the future powerhouse he intends to support rather than compete with. 3 5 6
