An Ancient Quasi-Emperor, Riding into Battle!

In the very heart of Deathless Mountain, great mountains stood to the east, west, south, and north, towering into the clouds. Pitch-black as ink and wreathed in ribbons of black mist, they barred the way ahead.

Big Black Dog counted them carefully, his eyes grave, his guard raised to the utmost. "Twenty-seven great peaks in each direction—the number of great perfection. None but a Supreme Being may dwell here. We've really reached this place."

"Throughout the ages, only the Human Race's Great Emperors have dared wage war this far in..."

One hundred and eight black peaks guarded the center. Each was a king among mountains, an emperor among peaks, their oppressive grandeur threatening to suffocate anyone nearby. Vast and towering, they exuded a terrifying aura that had remained unchanged since time immemorial.

No matter what peerless prodigy or supreme Great Power you might be, before such an aura, you were nothing worth mentioning.
