Holy shit, Crucible!
Si Telan felt as if she had been struck hard by a hammer, and the memory she still did not want to recall surged uncontrollably into her mind.
That was the first time she had been cut in half. The first time!
And she had lost for such an absurd reason. A stupid-looking blue Slime had stepped on her shadow, leaving her unable to escape, and Crucible had split her in two.
If they had fought normally, she definitely would not have lost so miserably!
At least, that was what Si Telan believed.
Unfortunately, she had never found that teleportation chest leading directly near the Crucible Knight again, much less gotten a rematch. There were still teleportation chests leading to the lower levels, but she simply could not find the Crucible Knight.
Come to think of it, she did not even know that the Crucible Knight was called the Crucible Knight. She only knew she had died at the hands of a mysterious knight-like monster.
For the first few days after dying, she had nightmares constantly. In her dreams, the terrifying duo of the Crucible Knight and Wobbuffet killed her in all sorts of inventive ways, leaving her deeply unsettled.
Now that she had met this "long-missed" acquaintance in Zane Dungeon, how could she not be shocked?
Wait, why had this thing come to the upper levels?
How were those weaker adventurers supposed to continue exploring after this?
Si Telan felt her legs go a little weak. Even so, she shot the Crucible Knight a defiant glare.
"Hah."
The demons sensed tremendous danger from the Crucible Knight and immediately decided to change targets, planning to kill him first.
The Crucible Knight said nothing, but the way he raised his head showed his contempt for the monsters.
