Back to School Day

The whistle of the train at King's Cross Station announced the end of the Christmas Holiday.

Li Wei and Hermione traveled light, with no luggage to carry, and leisurely said goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Granger:

"Goodbye, Uncle and Auntie! This was the happiest Christmas Holiday I've ever had! Thank you for taking such good care of me!"

Mrs. Granger looked reluctant to part with him.

"Come play at our house again next holiday. I'll make you even more delicious food!"

Mr. Granger looked equally gratified.

"Hermione will be in your care, Li Wei. We can all tell that you're a kind and sensible child!"

Li Wei hurriedly promised with a solemn expression, "Don't worry, Uncle and Auntie! I'll definitely take good care of Hermione!"

Hermione, meanwhile, waved goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Granger with a bright smile.

"Bye, Mom and Dad! I'll write to you from Hogwarts!!"

"Mm, goodbye." Mr. and Mrs. Granger watched reluctantly as Hermione and Li Wei walked hand in hand into Platform Nine and Three-Quarters!

"I wonder what will become of those two children in the future?"

Mr. Granger reluctantly withdrew his gaze and spoke with anticipation.
