In the office, after hearing Malfoy recount what had happened, Professor Snape's intolerance for stupidity was practically about to flare up!

He was one hundred percent certain that Malfoy had absolutely been played by Li Wei and Potter!

There was definitely nothing wrong with Malfoy's memories!

If Malfoy's memories had been altered by the Imperius Curse or some other method over such a long period, the school's teachers and his parents would have noticed long ago!

Professor Snape frowned. Though he had little contact with Hagrid, he did not want anything bad to happen to a member of the school staff. Besides, privately raising a dragon was simply idiotic!

How was that any different from a Muggle keeping a man-eating lion at home and hoping no one noticed?

Fortunately, from what Malfoy had said, Hagrid, Li Wei, and the others had hidden the hatched dragon quite thoroughly.

He wondered whether they had sent the dragon to a dragon reserve or released it into the wild to become a wild dragon.

As Snape considered this, he even felt a little regretful. A dragon had many materials that could be used to brew extremely precious potions, including dragon blood and dragon liver.

If he could get his hands on that dragon, he might greatly enrich his potion stores!

Snape spoke to Malfoy impatiently, tossing out several cold remarks:

"You were merely fooled by Hagrid, Li Wei, and the others! There is nothing wrong with your memories!

"Idiot. The next time something happens, can't you calm down and think it through properly?"

"If Norbert never existed, would Hagrid have sent you to find Li Wei and the others?"
