But the countdown had already ended, so they could only control their respective hidden trump cards—the Dragon Warrior—and crash into each other!

Lockhart and Cedric's match was nowhere near as exciting. The game characters they chose were not particularly noteworthy either.

Lockhart had Fire Mage banned and chose the Ice Queen as his controlled character, while Cedric had Bloodthorn banned and chose the close-combat-specialized Dragon Warrior.

No matter which cards the four of them had banned, their matches were still spectacular, with all sorts of unexpected skills flying everywhere!

In the end, Ron controlled the Dragon Warrior with a rapid, relentless assault, emptied Draco Malfoy's health bar, and won the match!

Two enormous letters rose from the Duel Disk. Draco's face was filled with disbelief, unwilling to accept his defeat.

He slammed his game controller onto the ground and threw back his head with a howl. "No!"

Cedric was inevitably a little disappointed after losing, but he quickly recovered and offered Lockhart his congratulations.
