"Flap, flap~"

Li Wei had barely woken up when, through his sleepy haze, he heard the sound of wings beating.

Looking up, he saw Rowlet blocking an Owl outside the window, staring at it with a vigilant expression.

Beside his pillow, Nami the Purrloin was baring her teeth as she warily watched the Owl outside.

Three dark wizards had suddenly attacked the night before. The two adorable Pokémon had not been able to help and both felt guilty about it.

That morning, the moment this suspicious Owl appeared, Rowlet and Nami immediately stopped it outside the window.

"Alright, Nami, and you too, Rowlet! Let it in! It isn't dangerous!"

Li Wei sat up in bed and spoke to the two Pokémon.

He guessed it was a school Owl Professor McGonagall had used to deliver a letter.

Naturally, it could not possibly pose any danger.

Unless some dark wizard had used Animagus magic to turn into an Owl and attack him, what was there to worry about from an Owl?

"Whoo!"

The Owl landed on the table beside the bed, glared angrily at Nami and Rowlet with its round eyes, let out an indignant hoot, and extended a small claw to signal Li Wei to take the letter.

"Thanks for the effort!"

Li Wei fed the Owl a strip of meat, removed the note, and opened it. As expected, it was a letter from Professor McGonagall:

[Li Wei, I hope this letter finds you well:

At noon today, I will arrive as scheduled!

Please be prepared to accompany me to the Ministry of Magic to handle the property transfer and patent registration.

*I knew it! Those dark wizards last night must have been some underhanded trick Umbridge pulled because she couldn't withstand Headmaster Dumbledore's and Professor McGonagall's
