Learning Alchemy

Li Wei and Hermione accompanied Perenelle and witnessed all manner of strange and unusual alchemical tools.

It truly broadened their horizons. They had never imagined that wizards had already achieved through alchemy miracles that even ordinary people could not accomplish with technology.

For example, remote video calls had yet to become widespread, but Nicolas Flamel had a magical book at home. Once opened, it allowed video calls over long distances with anyone who possessed the same kind of magical book!

Even though the ordinary world already had such technology, it still had not become widespread. Yet Nicolas Flamel had mastered this alchemical technique centuries ago!

Then there were Prophecy Balls, which could easily amplify the faint gift of prophecy within a wizard, allowing them to see events that would happen some time in the future.

To Li Wei and Hermione, this was where the true miracle of magic lay. Even if ordinary technology developed for another hundred or two hundred years, it probably still could not achieve something like this!

As they broadened their knowledge, Li Wei and Hermione respectively began studying under Nicolas Flamel and Perenelle.

Naturally, Li Wei devoted himself to studying Alchemy under Nicolas Flamel.

As for Perenelle, she was the elderly lady who had accompanied Nicolas Flamel for more than six hundred years.

Although she was not a top-tier master alchemist like Nicolas Flamel, over those long years, she had turned herself into a master of every field!

In every aspect of magic—spells, potions, Alchemy, prophecy, magical creatures... Perenelle had reached the level of a top professor in all of them.

Having Perenelle teach Hermione was actually more suited to this knowledge-greedy Ravenclaw!

Li Wei did not know how Hermione's studies were progressing, but his Alchemy lessons with Nicolas Flamel were quite different.

Before the lessons
